Rich roasted malts and gentle British hopping with earthy Fuggles hops help create just the right balance and character that this style is famed for. Dark brown to black. Complex aroma with overtones of burnt grain, pipe tobacco, and dark chocolate. Undertones of coffee, stone fruit, and smoke. Flavors similar to aroma with the addition of toffee, marshmallow, and earthy British style hops.
